Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Leader to expand and direct our Power Delivery practice in Orange and adjacent markets. You will lead the team, drive growth, and oversee wind-energy related studies, substation work, and transmission projects.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, and deep client networks, with autonomy to grow the business and staff, plus a potential ownership path through performance rewards.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of wind energy or related project leadership experience.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Strong network with local developers, architects, landowners.
• Proven business development, budgeting, and client management skills.
• Experience leading land development projects profitably.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D, Excel, and GIS.

Responsibilities

• Lead a power delivery practice including transmission, substations and studies.
• Develop a growth vision and manage projects, clients, and team.
• Coordinate engineering, energy assessment, and construction activities for wind projects.
• Provide vision, strategy, goals and client relationships.
• Mentor staff and transition work to qualified personnel.
• Operate with integrity and sound business principles.
• Participate in profit-driven project management and potential ownership.
