Kimley-Horn has an opportunity for a Senior Leader to expand and lead our Power Delivery practice in San Diego and surrounding markets. You will drive growth by developing wind energy projects, building a strong client network, and mentoring a growing team locally.

The role combines leadership with technical excellence, offering autonomy to shape the practice, manage projects profitably, and pursue ownership through a strong bonus program. Expect an influential, high-impact leadership position.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant experience managing wind energy or related projects.
• Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
• Familiar with the relevant standards, regulations, and best practices for power delivery projects.
• Extensive client contacts and relationships with local architects, developers, land use attorneys, planners and/or landowners.
• Strong technical skills in AutoCAD Civil3D, Excel, and GIS.

Responsabilités

• Lead a practice specializing in Power Delivery engineering services.
• Create a vision for growth and expand the Power Delivery practice with own projects, clients and team.
• Coordinate or direct development, energy assessment, engineering, or construction activities to ensure wind project needs are met.
• Provide vision, business planning and strategy; establish goals; build client relationships.
• Grow and mentor staff; manage projects profitably; pursue ownership through a strong bonus program.
