Job summary

JE Dunn Construction is seeking a General Superintendent – Power in Texas to lead field operations for large-scale natural gas and thermal power generation projects. This role directs subcontractors, sequencing, QA/QC, and safety across all construction phases, coordinating with engineering, commissioning, and project management teams to deliver on time and within budget.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field required.
12+ years construction experience with 10+ years field supervision recommended.
Experience leading power-generation projects and knowledge of related safety standards.
Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules and multi-contract teams.

Responsibilities

Lead safety culture and ensure injury-free environment across project sites.
Oversee field operations, subcontractors, and site activities to meet budget and schedule.
Coordinate turn-over packages with commissioning teams and OEMs.
Manage procurement processes and large equipment installation for power projects.
Recruit and develop field talent and promote diversity within JE Dunn.
