Synopsys Inc in Hillsboro, OR seeks a senior validation engineer to define and lead post-silicon validation for UCIe die-to-die IP. You will own the validation software stack in Python, coordinate lab bring-up, and drive cross-functional programs spanning design, firmware, and applications.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in high-speed mixed-signal validation, expert UCIe knowledge, and strong instrumentation skills. On-site work in a customer-focused environment is common in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong background in post-silicon validation of high-speed interfaces.
• Expertise in UCIe die-to-die IP and associated sign-off processes.
• Hands-on debugging across analog, digital, and packaging domains.
• Proven ability to lead customer silicon bring-up and root-cause analysis.
• Proficient in Python-based lab automation and data pipelines.

Responsabilités

• Define post-silicon validation strategy for UCIe IP and establish sign-off criteria.
• Lead bring-up and debug of customer silicon in remote or on-site labs.
• Own the validation software platform architecture in Python.
• Characterize die-to-die links with instrumentation and benchmarks.
• Drive cross-functional validation programs across design, firmware, and marketing.
