Job summary

BMO is seeking a skilled Credit Analyst/Portfolio Manager for its Commercial Banking group in Irvine, CA. You will analyze credit information and negotiate loan structures that meet client needs while staying within risk policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring portfolio performance, presenting proposals, and growing client relationships with support from Business Partners. A strong finance background and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration, Finance and Accounting preferred.
• Credit risk knowledge and experience within corporate or banking environment are expected.
• Strong financial analysis and risk assessment capabilities are essential.

Responsibilities

• Analyze credit information to support lending decisions for Commercial banking loans.
• Negotiate loan structures and terms aligning client needs with risk appetite.
• Monitor portfolio for credit quality and compliance, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Lead development of proposals and deliver client presentations to grow relationships.
• Build and maintain client relationships in collaboration with Relationship Manager.
