Job summary

Fluence, a global leader in energy storage and optimization software, seeks a Senior Portfolio Finance Manager to lead financial management across the Americas portfolio. Reporting to the Director, Portfolio Finance Management, you will drive accounting compliance, revenue recognition, and contract administration for major projects.

You will collaborate with project managers, suppliers, and customers to ensure accurate forecasts, manage internal controls, and optimize profitability through

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of financially managing large projects, preferably in energy.
• Advanced understanding of project accounting methods, including POC revenue recognition.
• Advanced understanding of commercial contract terms and conditions.
• Experience negotiating with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Be financially responsible for a portfolio of the largest and most complex projects within the Americas region.
• Work with project managers to provide timely transparency around project performance against budget.
• Ensure adherence to accounting guidelines, including revenue recognition conclusions.
• Drive to improve project performance through change orders and supplier claims.
• Organize project reviews and manage subcontractors to maintain timeline and quality.
