Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Portfolio Finance Manager reporting to the Director, Portfolio Finance Management. You will oversee financial management for a portfolio of large projects across the Americas, ensuring accounting compliance, contractual adherence, and effective change management.

Ideal candidates have 8–10 years in project finance/contract administration within energy or infrastructure, with SAP and Unifier Primavera experience and a CPA or MBA is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of financial management on large projects, preferably energy/infra EPC
• Advanced project accounting methods, including POC revenue recognition
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle and commercial terms
• Experience negotiating with customers and suppliers

Responsibilities

• Be financially responsible for a portfolio of the largest and most complex projects within the Americas region
• Collaborate with project managers to provide timely transparency on performance vs budget and maintain EAC
• Ensure adherence to applicable accounting guidelines and commercial terms
• Highlight risks and opportunities and track contract changes and supplier claims
• Support internal controls around Order-to-Cash and perform peer reviews
• Mentor junior Portfolio Finance Managers and improve onboarding processes
