Job summary

Fluence is seeking a seasoned Portfolio Finance Manager to oversee the financial performance of large projects across the Americas. The role requires deep accounting and contract administration experience in energy-related infrastructure projects.

You will collaborate with project managers to ensure timely financial transparency, adherence to accounting guidelines, and strong internal controls across Order-to-Cash. Mentoring junior staff and driving process improvements are key as well.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a major in accounting or finance.
• MBA or CPA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Be financially responsible for a portfolio of the largest and most complex projects within the Americas region.
• Work with project managers to provide timely transparency around project performance against budget and monthly Estimates at Completion for Revenue, Cost, and Margin.
• Ensure adherence to applicable accounting guidelines and to commercial terms and conditions; identify risks.
• Execute internal controls related to Order-to-Cash and review project-related transactions.
• Drive improvements in project performance through change orders and supplier claims.
• Track penalties and liquidated damages; manage subcontractors and suppliers to maintain delivery timelines.
