Anthropic in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Compliance Program Manager to build and run the political law compliance program supporting the corporate PAC, political giving, and preclearance processes, with the potential to extend to lobbying registrations. Responsibilities

• Own the political contributions preclearance program: intake, registered persons, jurisdiction-by-jurisdiction screening against live and prospective public-sector business, recordkeeping, and periodic reconciliation
• Support corporate PAC compliance operations with Policy, Finance and outside counsel – restricted-class eligibility controls, review workflows, FEC reporting oversight, and reconciliations
• Maintain the corporate political giving log and vetting workflow for candidates, committees, 527s and C4s; integrate pay-to-play triggers into contract intake for public-sector deals
• Depending on scope, support or oversee lobbying compliance: registrations, deadlines and filings with outside firms
• Manage outside political law counsel and compliance vendors – scoping, inputs, quality, timeliness and budgeting, advise what sits in-house vs outside
• Run gifts and hospitality reviews for events with public officials; apply federal, state and local rules alongside anti-corruption standards
• Review conflicts of interest, outside business activity and gifts/hospitality; maintain post-government-employment and recusal tracker
• Build and deliver training, quick-reference guidance and intake how-tos for Policy, GTM and leadership; keep policies current as footprint changes
• Serve as product owner for AI-assisted intake, screening and case-management workflows; define requirements, run testing, decide automation vs human review, report metrics to leadership
