Job summary

Aristotle in Washington is seeking a Senior Political Compliance Manager to oversee PAC and lobbying compliance for diverse clients. You will coordinate federal/state filings, banking tasks, and client reporting while mentoring junior staff and guiding projects under VP/SVP oversight.

This senior role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong client management, and the ability to lead and train teammates on compliance workflows and software.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in accounting, political science, business, or related field.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience filing federal and state campaign finance reports.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and file Federal and State campaign finance reports with appropriate agencies.
• May serve as a team lead and train new team members.
• Prepare and file lobbying, pay-to-play and non-profit tax forms for clients.
• Enter receipt and disbursement activity and HR files in PAC software.
• Serve as primary point of contact and relationship manager for assigned customers.
• Perform banking services (account setup, deposits, ledger, reconciliation) for client PACs.
• Track disbursement limits and prohibitions.
• Develop detailed operating procedures for each client.
• Train clients on software use to meet PAC goals.
• Prepare financial and PAC management reports.
• Prepare letters to accompany disbursements.
• Respond to client requests promptly.
• Establish and maintain positive client relationships.
• Assist in client software conversions and custom programming needs.
• Collaborate with Compliance and Development teams to resolve issues.
• Attend events and conferences representing the company.
