Job summary

Anthropic is seeking a Senior Compliance Program Manager to build and run our political law compliance program, supporting the corporate PAC, state and local pay‑to‑play preclearance, and ethics rules for official interactions. You’ll own end-to-end workflows and coordinate with Policy Legal and Corporate Compliance.

You’ll also help design AI-assisted intake and case-management workflows, manage outside counsel, and scale a lean team as the business grows across governments and enterprises.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ownership of compliance programs (political law, PAC, pay‑to‑play) across multiple jurisdictions.
• Designing preclearance workflows, registers, calendars and controls from scratch or redesigns.
• Fluent enough to work directly and manage outside counsel and vendors.
• Knowledge of FECA/FEC, LDA/HLOGA and state/local gift rules; know when to escalate.
• Strong project management and cross‑functional execution with policy, finance and execs.

Responsibilities

• Own the political contributions preclearance program: intake, registers, screening and recordkeeping.
• Support PAC compliance ops with restricted-class eligibility, review workflows, and FEC reporting oversight.
• Maintain the corporate political giving log and vetting workflow for contributions; integrate pay‑to‑play triggers.
• Oversee lobbying compliance: registrations, deadlines and filings with outside firms.
• Manage outside counsel and vendors; define in-house vs. external responsibilities.
• Run gifts and hospitality review for events with officials; handle edge cases.
