Job summary

ClearGov is hiring a Senior Manager, PMO to build and scale our project management office for public sector implementations. This hands-on leadership role combines strategic design with tactical delivery, coaching a growing team of PMOs while guiding governance, templates, and KPIs.

You will drive scalability as we expand to multi-year client programs, partner with Sales, CS, Product, and Engineering, and own key delivery metrics from backlog to go-live.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in project/program management, with 3+ years in PMO leadership or team management.
• Experience in SaaS, ideally GovTech, public sector, or highly regulated environments.
• Demonstrated success building or scaling a PMO function from early stage to repeatable practice.
• Track record of managing and growing a team of PMs/Implementation Managers.

Responsibilities

• Build, hire, and lead a high-performing team of Project Managers / Implementation Managers.
• Stand up formal PMO governance, methodology, and delivery playbooks for public sector work.
• Define and improve intake-to-close delivery workflows for consistency and scale.
• Lead executive-level status reviews and steering committee meetings for strategic accounts.
