Job summary

Arbor Research Collaborative for Health is seeking a PMO Manager to lead cross-functional project teams, oversee budgets and schedules, and standardize PM practices. The role demands strong leadership, stakeholder communication, and experience with government grants in a health research context.

You will manage complex projects remotely, coordinating with diverse staff and external partners to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables and compliance with contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public health, quantitative social science, or management with 10+ years of progressively responsible project management experience.
• PMP certification or equivalent.
• Experience managing large teams toward complex goals.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience managing government grants and contracts for research.
• Understanding of biostatistical, technical programming, and clinical health care research issues.
• Advanced proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Proficiency with project management software.
• Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee multiple projects across programs with varied contract types and funding sources.
• Develop and standardize project management tools, processes, and best practices.
• Serve as day-to-day liaison to clients and funders, reporting on progress and budgets.
• Mentor Project Coordinators and Project Associates; support Project Managers.
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality project products, analyses, and reports.
