Job summary

Sun Life U.S. is seeking a Sr. Project Management Process & Reporting professional to strengthen the PMO across the Dental portfolio.

You will craft executive dashboards, govern reporting cadences, and drive a value delivery framework to ensure initiatives deliver measurable business benefits. You will partner with PMO, business and technology leaders to align investments, reduce waste, and accelerate decision-making using Power BI and advanced analytics, while guiding adoption of Lean practices

Qualifications

BS/BA degree in Business, Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
3+ years of experience in a project management or PMO environment.
Strong experience with data analysis and visualization, preferably using Power BI.
Hands-on experience with PPM and collaboration tools, including Smartsheet, Planview, Jira and Confluence.
Solid understanding of Agile and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills.
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver executive-level dashboards with clear, actionable insights on portfolio health, performance, financials, and resource utilization.
Establish and maintain a cadence-based reporting framework aligned to PMO governance.
Lead the design and implementation of a value delivery framework across the dental portfolio.
Support portfolio prioritization and investment alignment with PMO, business and technology leaders.
Advance lean portfolio governance practices and improve flow of work across the portfolio.
Align PMO processes and tooling to support lean portfolio management and faster throughput.
Leverage Power BI for data visualization, reporting automation, and scalable analytics.
Analyze portfolio data to provide insights and recommendations to leadership.
Ensure adherence to PMO governance standards, methodologies, and best practices.
Maintain and improve PMO workflows, templates, and communication frameworks.
Provide end-user training, documentation, and ongoing support for PMO processes and tools.
Drive continuous improvement using Waterfall and Agile methodologies with Smartsheet, Planview, Jira, Confluence.
Increase efficiency by reducing manual reporting and automating data flows across tools.
Promote adoption of standardized tools and processes for consistent, scalable delivery.
Identify opportunities to enhance PMO capabilities and align with portfolio priorities.
