Job summary

Actian is seeking a senior Product Marketing Manager to lead GTM for our BI and analytics platforms in the United States. You will own positioning, messaging, and demand programs for BI products, including AI-enabled capabilities that reshape buyer expectations.

You will collaborate with Product, Sales, and R&D to drive demand, enablement, and renewal strategies, translating roadmap updates into customer narratives that win in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of PMM experience in enterprise software.
• Experience marketing a BI or analytics product directly.
• Background marketing to analytics teams, data engineers, and application developers.
• Familiarity with how AI reshapes BI roadmaps and buyer expectations.
• Experience with open-source communities, free trials and product-led growth models.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain positioning, differentiated messaging, and a cohesive narrative for BI/analytics products.
• Lead go-to-market for product launches from bill of materials through sales enablement.
• Create demand generation content targeting technical and business buyers.
• Build and deliver internal enablement materials and training: product tours, email cadences, pitch materials, customer stories, and demo scripts.
• Create sales plays and campaigns that drive adoption and pipeline impact.
• Partner with R&D to shape roadmap and articulate AI story, including agentic workflows and AI-driven features.
• Monitor competitive landscape and provide strategic recommendations for product positioning and PM roadmap input.
