Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects in Florida, with responsibility from project approval to commercial operation. The role emphasizes ownership of safety, cost, schedule, and quality while coordinating across internal teams and external EPC partners.

The successful candidate will oversee complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives, maintain strong stakeholder alignment, and drive commissioning, turnover, and long-term asset

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of related experience OR 11 years with HS/GED and relevant experience.
Preferred: MBA, PMP, PE, AACE or other professional certifications.
Experience delivering utility-scale solar, battery storage, transmission, or major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

Lead utility-scale solar and energy storage projects from approval through operation and closeout.
Oversee safety, scope, cost, schedule, quality, and risk; align stakeholders.
Manage EPC contractor relationships and resolve project issues and claims.
Coordinate turnover, asset readiness, and handover to operations.
