Job summary

Duke Energy Corporation is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects from inception through operation. You will oversee safety, quality, schedule, cost, and risk while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and EPC partners to ensure successful asset handover and long-term performance.

Reporting to PMC leadership, you will manage budgets, forecasts, and contract compliance, while maintaining alignment with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of related work experience, or 11+ years with a High School/GED.
• Experience leading complex capital projects in a utility environment beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects from approval to closeout.
• Own overall project performance including safety, scope, cost, schedule, quality, risk, and stakeholders.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate with owner, EPC contractor, and internal groups.
