Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Project Manager for Transmission & Substation projects in the United States. You will oversee electrical construction from inception to completion, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and deliver high-quality results for utility and infrastructure clients.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering/Construction Management or related field, 3+ years PM experience, and strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Project Manager in construction.
• Experience budgeting, contract management, cost control, scheduling, and electrical utilities.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems and safety standards.
• Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement project plans, including defining scope, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client expectations.
• Manage contracts and negotiations with clients, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Oversee installation of electrical utilities and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits for quality adherence.
• Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Resolve issues or delays impacting timeline or budget.
