Job summary

Tyler Technologies Overland Park team seeks a senior Project Manager to lead software implementation for Recreation Management and Licensing products. You will partner with state agencies and internal teams to plan and deliver projects on time, within scope and budget.

This hybrid role requires 3 days onsite weekly and offers opportunities to support audits, financials and contract management. Travel to client sites as needed and ongoing client liaison.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience with software implementation project management.
• Outdoor Recreation industry preferred (State Parks and Hunting/Fishing Licensing agencies).
• Software life cycle and enterprise software knowledge required.
• Bachelor's degree, or comparable work experience.
• SOC Audit and PCI compliance experience a plus.
• PMP certification.
• Organizational and time management skills including solid people management and project management experience involving the ability to manage project financials and multiple projects of various size, scope and complexity simultaneously and within budget.
• Ability to promptly anticipate and address unexpected demands. Able to balance the workload and correctly complete each task while working to allocate time for special projects that arise from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with sales, implementation, product and engineering teams.
• Own contract deliverables and client communications.
• Track hours, milestones and progress reports.
• Identify risks and drive issue resolution.
• Travel to client sites as needed and support training.
