Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of our payment platform, manage discovery, planning, testing and deployment, and ensure successful delivery for government digital payments.

You will mentor less experienced staff, drive project plans, coordinate with internal teams and clients, manage risks, and optimize processes to deliver a seamless client experience.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Business/Management Information Systems, or equivalent area of study.
• Seven or more years of experience managing information technology implementation projects.
• High level of software lifecycle and enterprise software knowledge.
• Proven experience managing custom software development projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify new IT and payment projects with stakeholders.
• Manage multiple activities for large enterprise projects and meet deadlines.
• Develop project plans and documents per company standards.
• Lead internal and external teams in a matrix organization.
• Apply best practices to develop client-focused solutions.
• Analyze processes and initiate improvements for efficient service.
• Translate customer needs into operational requirements.
• Schedule, monitor, and communicate project work per plan.
• Collaborate with clients and teams to address feedback and issues.
• Document meeting minutes and track action items.
• Identify risks, scope changes, and contingencies.
• Conduct project wrap-up meetings for smooth transitions.
• Provide guidance to implementation teams to reach goals.
