Job summary

Intersect is seeking a Project Manager – Natural Gas Projects to lead the execution of power generation and data center infrastructure. You’ll guide owner’s rep duties across development through commissioning, coordinating engineers, EPC contractors, utilities, and equipment vendors.

You will review designs, assess contractor proposals, ensure QA/QC, safety, and reliable handover to operations, while maintaining schedule and budget discipline in a dynamic, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
• 10+ years in project execution, construction management, or engineering leadership in power/energy sectors.
• Direct experience with natural gas-fired power projects from development through handover.
• Strong technical grounding in HV switchyards, substations, and BESS integration.
• Familiarity with QA/QC frameworks, commissioning, startup tests, and safety systems.
• Hands-on leadership emphasizing collaboration and disciplined commercial/technical negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk registers from development to turnover.
• Act as owner’s representative, manage EPC/consultants/vendors, and drive performance against safety, quality, and timelines.
• Review technical designs, vendor submittals, and construction approaches; guide equipment selection and scope.
• Ensure safe, compliant execution with QA/QC, commissioning, and startup procedures across teams.
