Job summary

Intersect seeks an experienced Project Manager - Natural Gas Projects to lead the execution of critical power generation and energy infrastructure initiatives. You will function as the owner's representative from development through commissioning and handover, coordinating across engineering, procurement, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a listed engineering discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive project execution or engineering leadership experience.
• Direct experience with natural gas-fired power projects (reciprocating engine or gas turbine).
• Strong QA/QC, safety, and commissioning knowledge.
• Hands-on leadership style with collaboration and disciplined negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute project plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and risk registers for natural gas-fired power facilities from development to turnover.
• Drive safety, quality, schedule, budget performance, and provide updates to executives.
• Lead EPC contractor oversight, negotiations, change orders, and proposals evaluation.
• Review designs, vendor submittals, and construction approaches with engineering teams.
• Oversee QA/QC, commissioning tests, and handover to operations.
