Job summary

The Recruiting Hive, a well-established general contractor in the Nashville area, is seeking a Project Manager (or Assistant PM) for multifamily and commercial projects. The role emphasizes long-term culture-fit and advancement opportunities within a professional, energetic team.

You will manage design-to-build processes, coordinate with site teams, and foster strong trade relationships to deliver projects on time and within budget. Local travel is minimal, and competitive benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related discipline required.
• 6+ years ofProject Management experience with a General Contractor/Construction Management firm.
• Local subcontractor and vendor relationships in the greater TN/Southeast markets preferred.

Responsibilities

• Initiate construction process from design through buyout, scheduling to closeout.
• Coordinate with Site Management for seamless operations and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain trade-partner relationships and grow vendor networks locally.
• Direct all project phases from pre-con to close-out, ensuring safety, budget, and schedule compliance.
• Oversee 1-2 projects concurrently including mid-rise, garden-style, and podium structures.
