Job summary

Vanilla Technologies Inc. (dba Vanilla) is seeking a senior Product Manager to own integrations end-to-end.

You will write precise specs and align with partner product and engineering leads, influencing the roadmap with evidence. This role requires deep technical depth, a track record shipping multi-system integrations, and the ability to translate business context into concrete data models, sync behavior, and failure handling.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in product management with at least 3 years owning integrations, APIs, platform, or partner-facing products.
• Proven track record shipping non-trivial third-party integrations with ownership of requirements.
• Deep technical depth: read API docs, test endpoints, reason about data models and sync architecture.
• Strong specification writing that engineers reference.
• Experience negotiating technical approaches with external partners or vendors.

Responsibilities

• Own the integrations roadmap and sequencing, define system connections and depth.
• Define requirements and specs for every integration shipped.
• Manage technical relationship with partner product and engineering teams.
• Define internal done criteria to ensure customer workflows work, not just connections.
• Create reusable integration patterns to reduce future integration costs.
• Collaborate with partner teams to scope joint work and align on technical approaches.
