Job summary

SSOE Group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our Industrial Facilities Design team. This role shapes high-performance manufacturing facilities with a fully integrated in-house staff to ensure projects meet industry standards from scope development to commissioning and start-up.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's in Engineering, Construction Management, or Architecture, or 8+ years in the field in lieu of a degree.
• PMP Registration preferred.
• 10+ years design industry experience with 5+ years as a Project Manager.
• Experience delivering major capital industrial projects in an engineering or architectural firm.
• Strong contract management, pre-design, construction administration knowledge.
• Experience coordinating multi-discipline teams across multiple offices and remote teams.
• Excellent communication and client-facing business development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-discipline projects across all phases with effective team development.
• Manage client relationships and serve as primary contact for delivery.
• Define scope, develop plans, allocate resources, align capabilities.
• Execute projects within approved budget, scope, and schedule.
• Oversee quality, cost, schedule performance and contractual requirements.
• Perform risk assessments and communicate issues to leadership.
• Facilitate scope changes with clients and coordinate stakeholder communications.
• Coordinate meetings, maintain documentation, and produce client reports.
• Manage invoicing, cash flow, and external contracts for consultants/services.
• Mentor project managers and support audits and corrective actions.
• Assist in marketing, proposals, and pursuits; travel as needed.
