Job summary

Accura Engineering and Consulting Services, Inc. is seeking a Plumber Technician to provide technical oversight, inspection, and QA support on federal construction projects at Fort Hood, TX.

The role ensures installations meet IPC, UFC, and contract requirements, working with project teams and government representatives. Responsibilities include conducting inspections, testing, preparing reports, and guiding field practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical training in plumbing is preferred.
• Valid Plumbing License is required.
• Minimum of ten years of plumbing installation, inspection, or construction oversight experience.
• Thorough knowledge of IPC, UFC, and applicable plumbing standards.
• Experience reviewing construction plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Experience with inspections, acceptance testing, and commissioning of plumbing systems.

Responsibilities

• Review plumbing system installations for compliance with IPC, UFC and contract requirements.
• Inspect and test plumbing systems and conduct surveys across facilities.
• Provide technical recommendations and guidance to improve installation quality.
• Schedule and conduct inspections and acceptance tests for newly installed plumbing systems.
• Evaluate work practices for compliance and prepare detailed technical reports.
