Northrop Grumman is seeking a Staff PLM Systems Architect to join our Defense Systems team in Roy, UT. The role focuses on PLM infrastructure design and optimization across design, build, and delivered states, with emphasis on integration to ERP and manufacturing systems.

You will partner with senior leadership and Configuration Management to align system architecture with strategic goals, while leveraging JIRA, CPLM, DOORs, Jama, and Polarion to drive improvements and ensure traceability of

Qualifications

• BS in a STEM field with 12 years of experience; 10 years with a Master’s; 8 years with a PhD.
• US Citizen with an active DoD Secret clearance within the last 6 years.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP approval.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Top Secret clearance within a reasonable period.
• 5 years of experience writing, managing, and tracking complex requirements using DOORs, Jama, or Polarion, plus verification planning.
• 8 years of Systems Engineering/MBSE experience and practice.
• 8 years in PLM tooling configuration management with hardware serialization.
• 8 years in CMDM roles with JIRA, Confluence, DOORs, Cameo, CPLM, SAP, MES.
• 8 years of project management experience and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead PLM infrastructure across Design, Built, and Delivered phases for Defense System programs.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align architecture with business goals.
• Drive process improvements using PLM, ERP, and manufacturing systems integration.
• Create end-to-end process documentation for PLM workflows.
• Oversee initiatives with Senior Leadership and other IPT leads.
• Evaluate departmental goals and identify opportunities for operational enhancements.
