Job summary
Staffmark is seeking a Senior Maintenance Technician for our Florence, KY facility on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 2:45 PM-11:15 PM).
The role focuses on troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated manufacturing equipment. You will program and diagnose PLC-controlled systems, read schematics, and support reliability improvements while working with production and engineering teams. Salary ranges from $52,000 to $80,000 depending on experience.
Qualifications
- Technical degree or equivalent maintenance experience.
- Training in electrical systems or PLC programming preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and manuals.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain automated manufacturing equipment.
- Program, modify, and troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems.
- Diagnose HMI, SCADA, servo drive, and control system issues.
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to maximize uptime.
- Analyze equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
- Read electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Support reliability, safety, and efficiency improvements.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams.
- Maintain maintenance records and ensure safety compliance.
