Job summary

Signode Industrial Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep production running safely and efficiently in our Florence, KY facility. This role emphasizes electrical and mechanical maintenance, diagnostics, and timely repairs to maximize output and quality.

You will work with PLCs and drives, perform preventative maintenance, and collaborate with supervision to address equipment issues. Training is provided for skilled candidates; strong safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of industrial electrical and mechanical maintenance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electricity and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Plcs and drives experience preferred.
• Welding experience MIG/Arc preferred.
• Forklift experience preferred; training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment in a timely, cost-effective manner.
• Maintain production machines and facility equipment.
• Check and inspect assigned equipment during preventative maintenance and report findings.
• Complete work orders and update maintenance tracking system.
• Identify and correct electrical issues through drives and PLCs.
• Ensure machine productivity and quality after repairs and changeovers.
• Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies.
• Respond quickly to safety concerns and rectify dangers.
• Maintain building safety and appearance including utilities, ventilation, and plumbing.
• Communicate issues with group leaders and maintenance manager.
• Other related duties as assigned.
