Job summary

Staffmark is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Technician on 2nd shift in Kentucky. Direct hire with pay $62,000-$90,000 per year based on experience.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical production equipment, read schematics, and support automation systems. The role requires 7+ years in electro-mechanical maintenance, PLC troubleshooting (Rockwell/Siemens preferred), and a technical degree or equivalent.

Qualifications

Technical degree, vocational certification, or equivalent experience in Industrial Maintenance, Electrical Technology, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
Training in PLCs, automation systems, hydraulics, or pneumatics is a plus.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electro-mechanical production equipment and manufacturing systems.
Diagnose and resolve electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation-related issues.
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and support automation system performance.
Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
Repair motors, sensors, drives, conveyors, and other production equipment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, safety, and machine reliability.
Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and production issues.
Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
Follow all company safety standards and maintenance procedures.
