Axon is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to define technical direction across our platform and drive automation with Kubernetes, IaC, and modern developer tooling. You will partner with teams building on the platform to ensure scalable, secure, and efficient data handling for millions of events.

You’ll lead architectural decisions and work across Azure/AWS/GCP with observability tools, aiming to improve reliability and performance of the evidence processing platform.

Qualifications

• Lead architectural decisions and standardization for platform technologies.
• Drive automation and IaC practices across the Kubernetes-based platform.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize datastore patterns and scaling.
• Design and operate a self-service platform for datastore solutions.
• Diagnose datastore performance bottlenecks and optimize usage.
• Guide application design patterns for platform service consumption.
