Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design scalable services and APIs, owning production services and driving reliability in a remote US-based role.

You will mentor engineers, lead code reviews, and collaborate with product, operations, and business teams to deliver features. The role emphasizes architecture influence, quality execution, and growth within the Media environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years in professional technology roles.
• Deep understanding of REST and service architecture.
• Experience with production services and SLAs.
• Proficient in Node.js, TypeScript, and NestJS.
• Familiar with HTML/CSS and frontend frameworks.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable services and APIs.
• Own production services, resolving issues and improving reliability.
• Lead code reviews, mentoring engineers on best practices.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop new features.
• Establish shared best practices across the organization.
• Document services thoroughly and clearly.
• Drive technical debt identification and prioritization.
