We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help lead a shift toward shared backend services, improve performance, and mentor engineers in a remote-first, US-based team focused on reliability and AI-enabled

Qualifications

• 6+ years in professional software engineering (SaaS/product).
• Backend services expertise in modern server-side frameworks (C# .NET, Node.js/TS) with a relational DB (Postgres/MySQL).
• Experience owning shared services used by multiple product teams.
• Strong production-grade engineering practices: testing, CI/CD, observability, incident response.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain platform services in our core stack (C#/.NET, Node.js/TS, Postgres, Redis, AWS).
• Improve reliability, scalability, and performance of high-throughput workflows.
• Collaborate with product, payments, data, and infra teams to design platform APIs and integration contracts.
• Break down initiatives into milestones and drive from design to rollout.
• Strengthen observability, on-call readiness, and incident response.
• Contribute production-ready code and design docs; perform code reviews.
• Use AI-assisted development tools and help the team adopt AI-augmented engineering practices.
• Improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment strategies, and environment management.
