Job summary

Drawbridge is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable infrastructure and internal tooling supporting our products and development teams. You will manage Windows and Linux endpoints, remotely deployed Linux appliances, and cloud-native services in Microsoft Azure, with a focus on automation, IaC, and security.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of systems/platform engineering experience.
• Experience with Linux administration, Ubuntu preferred, including packages, services, users, filesystems, and security hardening.
• Bash or shell proficiency and strong command-line skills.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub pipelines, repositories, environments, and releases.
• Hybrid Windows, Linux, and Azure environment experience.
• Networking knowledge (DNS, routing, firewall ACLs).
• Infrastructure-as-Code via PowerShell, Bicep, JSON, Terraform, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, and maintain Windows and Linux endpoints and cloud-native services in Microsoft Azure.
• Work with CI/CD pipelines, code security, and deployments in Azure DevOps.
• Create automation to improve repeatable administration tasks.
• Administer Azure and M365 cloud services.
• Manage a fleet of remotely deployed Linux and Docker appliances with configuration management (Puppet today).
• Maintain and improve security posture across systems.
• Monitor and enhance system performance.
• Develop procedures for troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Support development teams across various software environments.
• Assist with releases and deployments as needed.
• Provide escalation path for end-user support tickets.
• Contribute to disaster recovery planning and testing.
• Participate in proactive checks across systems and services.
