Job summary

Bridgeway Benefit Technologies is hiring a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain a cloud-based platform supporting development, testing, and deployment. The role emphasizes DevOps, SecOps, SRE, and modern cloud practices.

This is a remote position with preference for East Coast candidates. You will design scalable platform solutions, automate infrastructure, and lead cross-team collaboration while ensuring security and reliability.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of platform, cloud, or SRE engineering experience.
• Advanced knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
• Solid understanding of Python, Bash, PowerShell, or other scripting languages.
• Experience in transitioning a legacy environment to modern cloud practices.
• Strong experience with Git and collaborative workflows.
• Intermediate proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, or other Infrastructure as Code frameworks.
• Intermediate experience with CI/CD pipeline development and tools.
• Intermediate proficiency with Agile methodologies and the SDLC process.
• Solid understanding of containerization tooling such as Docker, Podman, LXC, and similar.
• Experience using generative AI tools to improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Iteratively design and develop scalable, resilient platform solutions using cloud services.
• Create modular, reusable infrastructure using Terraform and related tools.
• Architect, develop, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for platform functions and customer needs at scale.
• Own monitoring and logging solutions to ensure reliability and performance.
• Define and maintain a lifecycle process for platform systems to ensure updates and security compliance.
• Lead assigned projects and drive cross-team collaboration and delivery.
• Write clean, well-documented code and participate in on-call rotation.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline workflows and accelerate delivery.
