Job summary

OEConnection LLC seeks a Senior Platform Engineer (Cloud & AI Platform) to design, build, and evolve a scalable, secure cloud platform for engineering teams. You will work with software, architects, and DevOps to enable AI-assisted development and improve developer productivity across AWS/Azure/GCP environments.

The role emphasizes infrastructure automation, CI/CD, and platform reliability, with remote work within the United States and occasional travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
6+ years of experience in software, platform, DevOps, or cloud engineering.
Strong experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS preferred, Azure or Google Cloud also considered).
Experience building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
Proficiency with scripting or programming languages such as Python or Go.
Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
Strong understanding of networking, cloud security, Linux, and platform operations.
Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
Experience using AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud platform infrastructure.
Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
Manage AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments for performance and cost efficiency.
Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and deployments.
Partner with software teams to improve platform capabilities and developer experience.
Monitor platform health and drive continuous operational improvements.
Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
Utilize AI-assisted development tools to accelerate infrastructure work while ensuring quality.
Support platform capabilities enabling AI agents, including governance controls.
Extend observability and auditing for AI-driven workflows.
