Job summary

Anthropic Limited is seeking an experienced Platform Portability engineer to design and implement provider-agnostic infrastructure that runs across clouds. You will own the delivery pipelines for Claude on partner clouds and collaborate with Compute, Inference, and Security teams to ensure scalable, secure operations.

You will mentor engineers, review cross-cloud designs, and contribute to incident response planning while working in a hybrid office setting with a focus on safe, beneficial AI

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years building and operating production distributed systems.
• Experience leading cross-team technical projects from design to production.
• Proven ability to run workloads across multiple cloud providers.
• Knowledge of cloud IAM models and networking primitives across providers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build portable infrastructure abstractions for multi-cloud deployments.
• Own end-to-end delivery on Claude on partner clouds, including build, release, and validation pipelines.
• Mentor engineers on multi-cloud patterns and align stakeholders through clear communication.
• Participate in on-call rotation and develop postmortems and runbooks.
