Job summary

SIVAD Consulting is seeking an experienced Software Engineer – Platform for a fully remote role in the United States. You will write production Go code and own how services run in production, including Kubernetes controllers and data pipelines.

You will design high-availability systems, build CI/CD tooling, manage the GCP environment, and strengthen observability and security by design. The role requires 5+ years in infrastructure/platform engineering with Go and experience in Kubernetes, CI/CD,

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure/platform engineering with production Go.
• Proficiency in writing production Go code.
• Strong platform chops; not a 'point-and-click' / DevOps role.
• Owned Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines in production.

Responsibilities

• Own how services run in production, including Kubernetes controllers and reconcilers.
• Build pipelines that ingest, normalize, and store identity and security event data at production scale.
• Design and build high-availability, distributed systems for enterprise-scale workloads.
• Build CI/CD tooling, local development environments, and team docs.
• Own our GCP environment, including networking and storage.
• Own our observability stack—metrics, alerts, and tracing.
• Maintain 'secure by design' at the platform layer in partnership with security.
• Collaborate with product/design from early stages across the stack.
