Job summary

MAP SSG is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure for a fully remote role in the United States. You will own the infrastructure architecture, tooling, and reliability for a stealth-stage identity platform, writing production Go, managing Kubernetes, and building CI/CD systems.

You will collaborate with backend, product, design, and security teams to design scalable, secure, and observable systems across cloud environments and enterprise-scale deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure, platform, or backend systems experience.
• CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance experience.
• Cloud infrastructure experience, ideally GCP or similar hyperscaler.
• Infrastructure-as-code experience, ideally Terraform.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals.
• Collaborative mindset and excitement to work closely with product engineering.

Responsibilities

• Own infrastructure architecture and operations across cloud environments.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes-based infrastructure.
• Design and operate CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling.
• Own observability, alerting, metrics, tracing, and reliability workflows.
• Drive capacity planning, incident response, postmortems, and runbooks.
• Build reliable systems for an enterprise-scale identity platform.
• Work closely with backend, product, design, and security teams.
