Job summary

Klaviyo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Developer Infrastructure Team to define and execute the backend platform roadmap. You will own dependency management, upgrades, and tooling that accelerate velocity across engineers.

You will influence architecture across Python, Go, and data services, partnering with security and product teams, while advancing AI-driven tooling and platform reliability. This role emphasizes ownership and technical influence at scale.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with strong computer science fundamentals.
• Experience with distributed systems and dependency management.
• Proficiency in Python or Go and modern web stacks (React/TypeScript).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and infrastructure tooling (Kubernetes, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the developer platform infrastructure and standards.
• Lead upgrades and rollouts from design to production.
• Improve developer productivity and reduce toil across teams.
• Collaborate with security and product teams to implement scalable solutions.
