Job summary

Pride Global is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join a team building scalable, secure cloud infrastructure and developer platforms. You will design and operate global platform services, focusing on reliability, performance, and developer experience.

The role emphasizes hands-on work with AWS/Azure/GCP, Kubernetes, IaC, CI/CD, and observability, collaborating with software engineers, SREs, DevOps, and security teams. Onsite/Hybrid arrangement; 12-month W2 contract; competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE.
• Expert in at least one major cloud: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Kubernetes and Docker; experience with EKS/AKS/GKE is highly desirable.
• CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar.
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go.
• Observability platforms such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic.
• Cloud security basics: IAM, network security, compliance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure platform infrastructure.
• Develop and manage automated CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
• Architect, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Implement infrastructure automation with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi.
• Manage Docker and Kubernetes environments (EKS/AKS/GKE).
• Build monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Use Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or New Relic for health monitoring.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve reliability and efficiency.
