Prestige Staffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Platform Engineer to lead cloud infrastructure design and implementation. The role supports the automotive parts and repair industry, providing opportunities to drive automation and influence architecture.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software or platform engineering.
• Strong expertise with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred).
• Hands-on experience with programming languages like Python, Go, or Bash.
• Knowledge of containers and orchestration tools including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Solid background with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and systems.
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools such as Datadog.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, highly available platform infrastructure.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code best practices and optimize cloud environments.
• Develop and improve CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment processes.
• Collaborate with engineering to enhance system performance and integration.
• Monitor and troubleshoot systems to ensure high uptime and reliability.
• Uphold security principles across platform architecture.
• Mentor junior engineers and assist with onboarding new team members.
