Job summary

Prestige Staffing is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to shape and support scalable cloud infrastructure, automation, deployment tooling, and containerized platforms for a growing tech environment.

You’ll work hands-on to improve infrastructure, automate delivery, and ensure reliability and cost efficiency while collaborating with developers, security, and architects to advance AI-enabled applications.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or cloud engineering.
• Hands-on with at least one major public cloud (AWS preferred).
• Strong IaC experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience building or supporting CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, security, and scalability.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop cloud infrastructure and internal platform capabilities.
• Automate provisioning and management of infrastructure using IaC tools.
• Improve cloud environments for availability, performance, and cost.
• Create automated workflows for releases and deployments.
• Support and improve CI/CD processes used by development teams.
• Build, manage, and troubleshoot containerized apps and infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineers, security, and architects to improve the ecosystem.
• Contribute to platform capabilities for AI and data-driven apps.
• Identify and reduce manual work through automation and improved developer experience.
