Job summary

Abridge is seeking experienced Platform Engineers to scale cloud infrastructure and developer experience. The role is mainly infrastructure‑focused with some application work, spanning platform building, adoption, and tooling support.

You will design and scale cloud infrastructure, pipelines, and security controls while uplifting the engineering team's velocity and platform maturity across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in infrastructure‑as‑code.
• Strong Kubernetes experience and cloud‑native tech familiarity.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for IaC and application code.
• Proficient in cloud platforms (GCP) and IAM models.
• Knowledge of monitoring/observability tooling at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale cloud infrastructure including networking, IAM, Kubernetes, databases, and storage.
• Create pipelines and release tooling to support a doubling team size.
• Implement cloud security practices and compliance across CI and deployments.
• Develop scalable application testing pipelines and observability improvements.
• Improve incident response with runbooks and proactive monitoring.
• Bridge local dev and prod environments to maximize velocity and security.
• Educate the team on cloud native design and participate in community evangelism.
