Job summary

OEC is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and evolve the cloud platform for scalable, secure software delivery. You will work with engineers and DevOps to enhance developer productivity and platform reliability, leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate infrastructure work.

The role emphasizes IaC, CI/CD, and secure, observable cloud environments across AWS/Azure/GCP with a strong focus on automation and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years in software, platform, DevOps, or cloud engineering.
• Strong experience with one or more major cloud providers (AWS preferred).
• Experience building Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with scripting/programming languages such as Python, Go, or Bash.
• Hands-on experience building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, CircleCI).
• Strong networking, cloud security, Linux, and platform operations knowledge.
• Experience with observability/monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools and evaluating AI-generated code.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure cloud platform infrastructure.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Manage AWS/Azure/GCP environments for performance, reliability, and cost.
• Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines to automate delivery and deployment.
• Collaborate with software teams to improve platform capabilities and developer experience.
• Monitor platform health and drive operational improvements.
• Implement security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate infrastructure development while ensuring quality.
• Support AI agent-related platform capabilities, including access, gateways, and governance.
