Job summary

SSTech LLC is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable, secure infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will implement automated CI/CD pipelines, IaC, and highly available platforms while collaborating with software engineers, SREs, and security teams.

The role emphasizes reliability, performance optimization, and strong cloud security practices, with a hybrid Seattle-based work model.

Qualifications

• 5 years of platform engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proficient with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi for IaC.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or equivalent.
• Strong containerization with Docker and Kubernetes (EKS/AKS/GKE).
• Scripting in Python, Bash, or Go for automation.
• Familiar with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).
• Knowledge of cloud security, IAM, network security, and compliance (SOC 2, ISO 27001).
• Strong analytical and collaboration skills with cross-team communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure platform infrastructure.
• Develop and manage automated deployment pipelines and IaC solutions.
• Architect and optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost.
• Implement robust monitoring, logging, and alerting to ensure reliability.
• Enforce security and compliance in deployments and configurations.
• Identify and resolve system bottlenecks to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers, SREs, and DevOps to streamline workflows.
• Participate in on-call rotations and rapid incident resolution.
