Cardinal Health is seeking a seasoned platform architect to lead design, development, and enhancement of core software & information platforms. You will mentor engineers, translate complex business requirements into robust platform designs, and drive long-term stability across cloud architectures.

Ideal candidates bring 8–12 years’ experience, a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, and strong hands-on GCP experience with Compute Engine, IAM, and APIs, plus Databricks platform familiarity.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience, preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on GCP experience in products like Compute Engine, IAM and APIs.
• Experience maintaining Databricks platform.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of core software & information platforms.
• Provide platform metrics & proactively identify patterns to improve platform stability.
• Ability to break down complex initiatives into small actionable work items.
• Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term stability and performance improvements.
