Cardinal Health is seeking a senior software & information platforms professional to lead design, development, and optimization of critical cloud-based platforms. You will drive platform stability, create reusable components, and mentor engineers across teams.

Ideal candidates have extensive GCP experience, familiarity with Databricks, and a track record of delivering scalable platform solutions across enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on GCP experience in products like Compute Engine, IAM and APIs
• Experience maintaining Databricks platform

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of core software & information platforms
• Provide platform metrics & proactively identify patterns to improve platform stability
• Ability to break down complex initiatives into small actionable work items
• Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term stability and performance improvements
• Establish platform standards, best practices, and governance across cloud architectures, integrations, and application frameworks
• Collaborate with Application Development, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into robust platform designs and reusable components
• Mentor and guide engineers across teams by providing architectural insights, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership
