Cardinal Health Information Technology seeks a senior leader to design, develop, and enhance core software and information platforms. The role partners with development, infrastructure, and architecture teams to translate business needs into robust platform designs and reusable components.

You will mentor engineers, drive stability and performance, establish standards across cloud architectures, and deliver scalable solutions using GCP, IAM, and Databricks.

Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in software/platform roles.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Experience maintaining Databricks platform and cloud-based services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and enhancement of core software & information platforms
• Provide platform metrics & proactively identify patterns to improve platform stability
• Break down complex initiatives into small actionable work items
• Troubleshoot complex platform and cloud issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and drive long‑term stability and performance improvements
• Establish platform standards, best practices, and governance across cloud architectures, integrations, and application frameworks
• Collaborate with Application Development, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to translate business requirements into robust platform designs and reusable components
• Mentor and guide engineers across teams by providing architectural insights, code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership
