Job summary

Crusoe is seeking a senior platform engineer to design and build core platform services and APIs for a large AI fleet. You will craft the public API surface, develop governance tooling, and enable self-serve workflows for internal teams.

We value distributed-systems expertise, ability to own platform components end-to-end, and a track record of shipping reliable, scalable software in an autonomy-first environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years building distributed systems, control planes, or infrastructure platforms.
• Strong software engineering skills in Go, Python, or Rust.
• Experience building platforms other engineers consume: public or internal APIs, SDKs, or developer tooling with real adoption.

Responsibilities

• Design and build core platform services: RBAC, tenancy, the workflow engine, policy engine, and state reconciler.
• Design the public face of the platform: the API gateway, resource model, and versioned API contracts.
• Build SDKs, workflow templates, and golden paths that make the platform self-serve.
